Inspiration
"Sunburns" tells the story of a love that burns as bright as the Texas sun but fades like a summer sunset. In our artwork, we captured this essence—a lone man, suspended in a hammock, shaded by a solitary tree, his trusty VW van parked nearby. It's a scene of desolation, yet serenity, in a once-bustling summer town now hushed by the passage of time.
As the sun dips below the horizon, casting its burning glow on the landscape, the dude lays sunburnt but content with the memories the burn gave him. In the distance, a guitar store stands as a reminder of the music that's intertwined with their journey.
